Designed for Trusted Assessors who have already achieved the qualification but need to refresh their skills, this one-day, practical course will allow learners to practice their skills using case studies, update on current changes to policy and legislation and practice skills in a safe environment.

Who is it designed for?

• This course is designed for Trusted Assessors already accredited at level three
• We recommend an annual refresher for Assessors.

What are the learning outcomes?

1. Understand changes to policy and legislation relevant to equipment and minor adaptations
2. Increase confidence in conducting trusted assessments
3. Be able to problem-solve and make recommendations from situations commonly seen
4. Know a range of new equipment available to support independent living
5. Increase confidence in measuring for minor adaptations and equipment
6. Network with other trusted assessors and have the opportunity to learn from others
7. Reflect on previous assessments and learn other solutions that may have helped.

How is it delivered?

• Our refreshers are offered as a one-day face-to-face course
• The course combines a refresh of theory with an up-to-date review of the latest adaptations equipment.
